13 Years

 This year we celebrated 13 years of marriage, with 10 of our anniversaries occurring while living abroad! 13 years, 4 countries, and 3 children later, I can’t say enough about how wonderful of a husband and father this man is and how much he is loved by our family.  He is our adventure seeker and visionary, faithful servant, hard worker, man of integrity, leader of our home, sports player, movie watcher, book reader, cuddler, and so much more. 

This year he was away for our anniversary, but he had these pretty flowers sent to the house.

I had this photo made with the lyrics to the song he played when he proposed to me, which was also our wedding song, ‘You Swept Me Away’, by the Avett Brothers. 

When Nathan was back in town, one day we went to eat to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary, on  a holiday where the kids had school and we had the day off (golden holiday:). We went to Ranchero, a new Mexican restaurant that recently opened close to our house, and it was pretty good!

Happy 13 years Nathan, I love you so much and am excited for what this next year has in store for us.
