Double Digits - Benjamin!

This year Benjamin celebrated a milestone double digits birthday! Benjamin is hard worker. He enjoys learning new skills and how to build or create things. He loves art and music, playing soccer and basketball, being with friends, making people laugh, playing with his siblings, all things Pokemon, money, baking, dancing, the list goes on. Benjamin is very organized and goal-oriented. If he has a goal in mind, he eagerly pursues it until it is met.  He loves life and we love seeing it through his eyes. Sweet baby boy 10 years ago.

We had his favorite breakfast, cinnamon rolls and bacon, and a big glass of milk! Benjamin continues to be a great eater and will try just about anything, except for spicy foods.

After breakfast he opened his gifts.

Eliza got him a Pokémon lego set

Caleb got him a watch and some Pokémon cards

He received money and gift cards from family. If you know Benjamin, you know he loves money. He will work hard to earn money, and is really happy to receive it as a gift!

This year, we did something different and invited his friends over for a surprise party. It was kind of last minute, but it turned out great. Here are all his neighborhood friends waiting for him to come home with Nathan from playing basketball.

The kids played at the house and we played some hide and go seek and Simon Says. Eliza enjoyed learning the Simon game, it was her first time playing. 

Then we had pizza and cake. As expected, Benjamin wanted a Pokémon themed cake!

Everyone sang happy birthday and we lit the giant firework candle.

It was a fun couple days celebrating Benjamin.
