Happy Valentine's Day! I am one lucky wife and mommy. I came home to three roses, one from each of my favorite boys :).
February is a unique time in Kuwait. At the end of the month, they celebrate National Day and Liberation Day. The city is lined with Kuwaiti flags and it is very festive. They begin preparing for the holidays at the beginning of the month. It's fun to see the Kuwaiti spirit. In preschool, Caleb made this nice painting of the Kuwaiti Towers, a major landmark downtown.
They also painted the traditional Kuwaiti flag. This was the flag of Kuwait before the Gulf War, but you still see them flown often.
