Summer Fun

We have had a busy but fun summer. The boys are enjoying camp very much, and they like that it is at the Embassy and they get to come to work with us each day! Say hello to some happy campers :).

Each week is a different theme, and I think their favorite was last week's Marine boot camp! Each day, the Marines started with PT, the taught them different lessons. Some of them were about uniforms, weapon safety and weapons, war paint, medal of honor. Here is Caleb trying on a uniform :)

We have been enjoying the pool this summer and on Thursday evenings they have a BBQ night. Here is Benjamin playing soccer with the cooks while we wait for our food to be ready.

 It's that time again where we will be saying bye to more friends in the coming days. These kiddos have been good buddies and their parents were Dead2Red runners with us. We will miss them as they venture on to Nebraska next!

 The boys have been taking swimming lessons for the last several weeks and had their last lesson today. I usually forget to take pictures of them swimming, but I remembered to get a few today.
