Belated Birthday for Benjamin and Transportation Week Gallery

A few days ago we had a belated birthday celebration for Benjamin at pre-school. His birthday fell right before the Eid holiday and school was closed for the week, then we were away for the next week. So 3 weeks later it was! Tes made some delicious red velvet cupcakes.

We enjoyed spending time with Benjamin's little friends. When we got there, they were all sitting at the table so nicely waiting to sing happy birthday, and of course eat cupcakes!

This past week, the school had a transportation themed week. Each class learned all about different methods of transportation and did a special project. At the end of the week, each class displayed their projects in an 'art gallery' theme for the parents. The kids were so proud to show off their projects. Caleb's class made a helicopter and Benjamin's class made a train. The school took some pictures of the kids working on their projects throughout the week. 

The school also gave out safety badges during morning drop-off for the children who were buckled in properly. This may be something that we take for granted in America, but in our neck of the woods infants and toddlers in carseats are few and far between. Our boys were proud of their safety badges :).
