Today, I had a date with Abeer. We usually get together as a family and let the boys play. But today it was a treat to get to spend the day with just her. She took me to the souq Mubarakya in the downtown area. We shopped for a few items, then stopped for a delicious meal in the souq.
Pomegranate, pomegranate, pomegranate…on hummus and salad, it was so tasty!
And lots of delicious meats!
Afterwards, we went back to the house, and she got to see Nathan and the boys. Caleb was running around, but Ben stopped for some good cuddling.

The souq is such an interesting place. Great that just the two of you were available to go there alone and enjoy some time together. The meal looks fabulous, and the best part was you could enjoy it without interruption.

Looks yuuuuuuumy. Oh my....we had meatloaf and roasted potatoes... ...blah, blah, blah...oh so boring. Girls, Saturdays and Shopping...It's a good thing. And final reward, cuddling with Benjamin :)
