On Sunday, our neighbors Matt and Michelle took us to Michelle's dad's farm. Michelle has been wanting to take us for a while, and recently one of the horses had a foal, so it was an extra bonus. It's a beautiful farm about 20 minutes from our house and the barn was full of horses.
Caleb liked the horses and dogs running around, but when we got inside the stable to see the foal he was a little unsure of them. Ironman is 3 months old, and he was so adorable. He and his mom are still stabled together, and they are supposed to separate soon. It was so sweet to see the mom with her baby horse, I imagine it is an adjustment for both mom and baby to make the separation.
After visiting the stable, we headed out to the tractors. I think little boys are genetically wired to like tractors and trucks. This little boy sure did!
And of course his favorite part of most activities is playing in the dirt...
Let's just say it was not wise for mom to wear a white shirt to the farm...
Caleb made a couple of new friendsAfter a fun afternoon at the farm, we ate delicious Mexican food on the way home. Thanks Matt and Michelle for the fun Sunday!

Love the smile :)
Looks like fun. I agree about being genetically wired in little boys... tractors, dirts and trucks!
He is ALL BOY!
White shirt to a farm...you are too funny:). Those horses are beautiful. It looks like Caleb might be a natural on those tractors!
Wouldn't have imagined you all having a family pic on the back of a bushhog, but I loved it and all the pictures!
caleb is quite the boy - I think you will have to raise him on a farm, he is definitely at home there. Love the pictures (and all of you)
