It has been a crazy last couple of days here. The Arab-African Summit is going on this week, which has shut down the major roads we travel. Traffic has been a nightmare, but the government declared a holiday today, tomorrow, and possibly Thursday, so the roads were less crowded. And to top it off, we got rain! A friend of ours took these pictures while picking up her kids from school.

Wow! It looks like the same results we have from a mid-west downpour. Is this type of rain unusual for this time of year or is it just to be expected? A good cleaning from all the sand and dust. Watch out for the crazy drivers and have a good next few days. Love, Dad and Mom P.
