We made it back to Illinois a couple days before Caleb’s 12th birthday, and enjoyed a fun day celebrating our eldest. Caleb has matured a lot this year and is growing into a fine young man. Caleb has a big heart, loves his siblings, and he is a loyal friend. He loves to read, watch animae, and has a new love for shoes, especially Nike Jordans.We started the day with his favorite birthday breakfast of cinnamon rolls, bacon, and fruit.
Next, he opened gifts from family.
We were going to rent canoes and kayaks at Little Grassy Lake for his birthday, but instead we rented a pontoon boat and we had a fun day riding around and swimming in the lake.
