Today there was an Easter Party at the Embassy. The boys have been excited all week to go on an egg hunt and see the Easter bunny. The party was at the Ambassador's house. They had a bouncy castle, face painting, an egg hunt, magic show, and game show. It was a full day and lots of fun.
When we got there, we waited on line to get our picture with the Easter bunny. Both boys said they would sit in his lap. Caleb was a little less excited once he saw the bunny, but Ben was all about him ;)Lots of our friends were there, these girls are some of our favorites.
I don't get many chances to get a picture with both boys, so I took the offer by our friends.
Tes came with us and had a fun time with the boys
The bouncy castle is always a hit with Caleb. Ben is warming up to it, but still prefers to watch. Caleb fell and hurt his arm. He was really upset for a while and needed ice.I was going to have him be seen by our Embassy doctor if he kept complaining about it hurting, but ironically as soon as the egg hunt started he dropped his ice and said, "mommy, look my arm is all better now!" I think we have a drama king in the making!
Their egg hunt was for kids 1-5. This kid looked a little bigger than 5 from what I could tell!
There were lots of kids and lots of eggs to find.
Look what we got!Our sweet friend Clover joined us for some sunshine and chocolate.
And then the Easter bunny made his rounds with the kids. He and Caleb got into a pretty important conversation about Caleb's eggs.
I'm not sure what happened, but the Easter bunny looked a bit sad at the end of their conversation.
Next the boys got their faces painted. Caleb was a scary skeleton….
Benjamin was the cutest puppy dog I've ever seen!
Caleb loves our friends' twins.
Brotherly love :)Caleb with his pre-school friend and his big sister.
Tes and Benjamin are good buddies ;).
After the party, we went to the playground for a little while
Within 2 minutes of driving home, both boys crashed!
It was a very fun day had by all!
