These boys know how to have fun, anywhere, anytime.
It's been a fun week at school. On Wednesday it was pajama day!
They were read bedtime stories, and got to hang out in their blankets and pillows....I'm a bad mom, I forgot about that detail!
I picked them up from school on activity day. This term, both boys are doing soccer and it was cute to watch!Another day they had a book fair where they got to buy books from the 1st and 2nd graders. They got comfy and we read some books.
These two....oh my. Another night, the Embassy had a birthday party for Dr. Suess. They served green eggs and ham, thing #1 and thing #2 cupcakes, and had all kinds of cute thematic activities.
Once of Caleb's good friends in his class, Hanna turned 6 and had a party at school. Caleb wanted to look nice for her birthday and picked a long sleeve button down shirt with a clip on necktie :).
My parents made a memory game of our immediate families and it is fun to see everyone's faces. Thank you, we are enjoying this very much!
Today one of the boys friends had a surprise birthday party at an REALLY FUN indoor play area called Gravity. I can't believe after being here for 18 months, this is the first time we have been here. The place is huge and it's a ginormous trampoline! There's activity areas, foam pits, sports areas - all trampolines!! And the best part....adults jump too, and we all did!
And a fun obstacle area that both boys enjoyed.
And a rock wall!
Of course what's a birthday with out the firecracker middle east candles!
It was a fun week and we are looking forward to Nathan getting on a plane later tonight and starting his journey home! We have a couple of friends from Turkey arriving tomorrow for a few days, a friend from Ethiopia arriving on Monday, and Elizabeth on Wednesday. Yay for lots of visitors!
